The world we live in is a jumble of all sorts of people and things. Some are good and some are bad and some are just as they are. Every day, we walk through our life criticising this and complaining about that, but how often do we praise and appreciate our blessings? You certainly won't like the answer to this one.
Wherever we go, whatever we do and whoever we meet, there is always something that is not right. For some weird reason, we have set the bar of our expectations so high that nothing is good enough. And then we say life sucks. It sucks because you sulk
Being happy and positive is not something that will get served to you on a platter, it is the aura you create for yourself. The moment you choose to ignore the things that aren't the way you wish them to be and start focusing on the small joys of life, your world will change. Instead of looking at what could've been, observe what Is. Life is too short to live with could've, would've or should've.
Just pause for a minute. Stop doing whatever you're doing and think about the 5 things that have made you feel good in the past 2 days. If you can come up with a list, Awesome! Repeat this process every once in a while. And if you're unable to do this, you need to take a hard look at the way you're perceiving the world around you. Because you may not have control over your environment, but you sure as hell are the one who decides how it affects you
