Ever wondered how things would be had you told that person how you felt. Ever spent lonely hours thinking about that conversation you couldn't bring yourself to have for fear of a negative response? If yes, believe me you aren't the only one.
The worse part about such situations is that there's nothing that can bring you to terms with the reality. And more than often, the unknown hurts more than anything else. You just long for a closure. A final word, a last conversation or even a chance to say what you always wanted to. But the fear is so dominant that it overpowers the urge to make that call or send that message.
But trust me when I say this, It's Not Worth It. All the pain, the uncertainty, the silent self-torture, nothing or nobody is worth it. And if it is meant to be, you might even get an answer that you'd always hoped for. You might get what you desired for. Sometimes it's not the person but the circumstances that go wrong. And even if you don't achieve what you wish for, the relief of having said your heart out is blissful.
So now, make that call. Talk to that person you've been thinking about or have the conversation you've been dreading. The unknown hurts much more than the true facts. Because the beauty of truth Is that it remains a constant and teaches you a lesson while the unknown keeps alive false hopes and expectations which never lead to any good.
