Boards I'm sure reading this word brings a lot of thoughts in everyone's mind. Just the mention of this word itself can bring back all the nervousness, tension, anxiety, determination and for some, even fun memories of those days. The board exams are not just made memorable with the studies and results, but also by the non-stop study! study! dialogues of all our surrounding people.
With the beginning of the class 10/12 season, begins a phase of our life during which our most frequently heard sentence becomes "Padh lo, boards mein fail ho jaaoge." From school to home to any social gathering, all anyone has got to talk about is your board exams. Teachers teach less and scare more. Every other person keeps telling us "study, this time won't come back." And this is exactly what my point is.
This time of our life is never going to come back. I know that studying and getting good marks is pretty important so as to attain success in our future but that is not everything. We also need to create memories that would later bring a smile on our face when we are too bugged up with our tensions. This is also the time to make friends who would stand with us through our thick and thin. Why are these things so hard to understand for our parents and teachers?
My dear parents and teachers, please just Chilll. Relax, these exams aren't the end of the world. I don't deny that scoring grades is important but don't forget that All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. There is absolutely no need to be so hard on us and on yourselves. Let us have fun and enjoy these beautiful years of our lives. Taking stress and thinking about the results will do nothing but give you a headache but no good outcomes. So stay calm and cool it up.
Jo gaya ho gaya, jo aayega dekha jaayega.
Na dur kisi manzil mein, na aane waale kal mein.
Saare jahan ki saari khushi hai, yahan abhi issi pal mein.
