It's Christmas today and I can't help but revisit the beautiful memories of numerous years of wonderful Christmas celebrations at Sacred Heart School..It's been 3 years since I experienced those lovely festivities and yet the feelings are still as heart warming as ever. Our Christmas celebrations marked the beginning of our much awaited winter break. The day used to begin with a special Christmas assembly filled with Christmas carols where our respected principal ma'am addressed us and wished us a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Then we all would go to our classes where we'd be given the lovely ginger cake after which we'd march to the school ground for the Christmas play. In the ground, the entire school would sit and watch the alluring play depicting the birth of Jesus Christmas followed by an admirable dance performance of the angels.
