I Pity You

How many times have you seen a person with a physical disability and thought that she/he is less capable than you? Or how often have you thought that you are superior than a specially challenged person just because their weakness is visible to all and yours is not? If you have done this, then I am sorry to say but you are the one I Pity. Of course, you would ask what's wrong in that. If someone can't walk properly or if a person is not able to see the world in a way that's similar to yours then its natural and genuine to show sympathy towards them. I don't think so. It is completely alright to be concerned but to consider them weak, NO WAY! No human being is born perfect. Every individual has their own flaws. The only difference is that some people's flaws are visible from the outside while others' surface in a different manner. And in my opinion,  having a physical disability is far far more better than having a  brainless head and an insensitive heart. I sa...

Motivate Them, Don't Scare Them!

This is that time of the year when all across the country, there is only a single topic of discussion - Board Exams. If you have read my earlier posts, you would ask why again? My answer to that is that there are still certain things which I would like to share with my readers, some thoughts that I did not express before. Now we all know that board Exams in India are among the most important sets of Exams which an individual takes. There is an immense pressure on the students from almost everyone around them - teachers, family and of course, oneself. Parents want their child to get 90% not just so she/he gets an admission in a good college but more so because " Chaacha ji ke bete ke 85% aaye the. " (Uncle's son got 85% marks. )  And as if this is not enough, there come the teachers asking their pupils to study not because they want them to succeed, but because if they don't get good marks, it would bring a bad name to the school.
